David Grisman Quintet: Live at Carmel 8-19-04
In August, 2004 the DGQ played an acoustically superb venue in
beautiful Carmel, CA at the Carmel Center for the Arts. The band includes
David, Jim Kerwin (bass), Matt Eakle (flute and bass
flute) and Joe Craven (violin & percussion). Rounding out the
ensemble on acoustic guitar is the classical Argentinean master, Enrique
Coria.
The sets were recorded by DGQ soundman Larry Cumings and later mixed in Dawg Studios by Dave Dennison and Dawg. Both sets are included in this collection of Dawg Classics from this incredible theatre.
